Thoughts on the Jeep Recon – Bigger Renegade or something new

I’ve been checking out the Jeep Recon, and I’m not entirely sold. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. Honestly, it feels like just a bigger version of the Renegade. I’d even go as far as calling it the "Renegaded 5.0." What do you all think? Does it live up to the hype, or is it just another iteration?

I get where you're coming from. I was hoping for somethng more distinct, but it does seem like a stretched Renegade in a lot of ways. It's not that it's bad, but it doesn't feel like a big leap forward. I think the hype was definitely overblown. I was expecting something more groundbreaking.

I can see the comparison to the Renegade. It feels like Jeep missed the chance to really innovate with this one. A bigger version doesn’t necessarily mean better, especially when it doesn’t bring anything fresh to the table.
