Jeep teases potential hybrid version of the recon for 2026

Jeep CEO Antonio Filosa hinted that a hybrid version of the Recon might be coming but it’s not confirmed yet. He said they’re still studying it and that for now it’s all electric. The hybrid could drop in 2026 with a 1.6L turbo engine and hybrid tech for better range and lower emissions

It'd be nice to see how they'd do a hybrid. Ford's already got that AWD hybrid thing in their Maverick. If Jeep could get that eFlite from the Pacifica working in the Recon, a hybrid would be really popular.
