According to Stellantis, the Electric Drive Module (EDM) combines the electric motor, power electronics, and transmission into a single unit. They claim it will improve the performance and range of their EVs, while keeping the cost low. With the EDM, they aim to achieve up to a WHOPPING 500 miles of driving range on their EV platforms. Sounds cool, right? What are your thoughts on this?

Cool!! The Recon's boxy design could limit it to 500 miles, but I bet the Recon EV can almost hit 450 miles with fingers crossed!

While the hype might be around 400-mile electric trucks, the reality for this boxy beast might be closer to 300 miles. Even the other aerodynamic EVs struggle to reach that mark, so don't expect this off-road-focused truck to be a long-distance champ.
